Disasters in Central Montana don't happen often, but when they do, they leave individuals, families and communities looking for both short-term assistance and long-term support.  Homes, livestock, livelihoods, clothing, tools, food, winter clothing and everything in between are sometimes lost.

Fergus County Disaster Relief was set up to help to mitigate the needs arising from local disasters.  Questions can be directed to ferguscountydisasterrelief@gmail.com or (406) 855-0297.

Assistance

FCDR may be able to offer assistance in the form of disaster relief.  If you have been affected by a recent disaster in Fergus County, submit an application for either short-term or long-term (6 months or longer) assistance here. If you have both short-term and long-term needs, please fill out both applications.

ALL INFORMATION RECEIVED IS CONFIDENTIAL

Donations

All donations made to the Fergus County Disaster Relief Fund will go to those affected by area disasters.  Funds will be distributed on an individual basis through an anonymous application process.

The 'Cash Donations' button will take you to the Central Montana Foundation's “Give a Gift!" page.  To donate, please select “Permanent Endowment or Pass Through Account” and type “Fergus County Disaster Relief” in the comments box. (If you want to direct your donation to a specific cause within the Disaster Relief Fund, you can type that in the comments box as well, i.e. Denton Fire, South Moccasins, or Rural Fire Districts.)  Then fill out the remaining information as requested.

The 'In-Kind Donations' button will take you to a form that will allow you to list the items you'd like to contribute.

Your contributions to these causes are very much appreciated!
